Components of the Coating Production Line

The components of a coating production line mainly include: pretreatment equipment, powder spraying system, painting equipment, drying oven, heat source system, electrical control system, suspended conveyor chain, etc.


Pretreatment Equipment

The spray-type multi-station pretreatment unit is commonly used equipment for surface treatment. Its working principle is to accelerate chemical reactions through mechanical scouring to complete process steps such as degreasing, phosphating, and water washing. The typical process of spray-type pretreatment for steel parts is as follows: pre-degreasing → degreasing → water washing → water washing → surface adjustment → phosphating → water washing → water washing → pure water washing. Shot blasting cleaning machines can also be used for pretreatment, which is suitable for steel parts with simple structures, severe rust, and little or no oil. This method causes no water pollution.


Powder Spraying System

It is recommended to select imported products for the key parts of the powder spraying system, while components such as the powder spraying booth and electric mechanical lift can be fully localized (domestically manufactured).


Painting Equipment

Drying Oven

The drying oven is one of the key pieces of equipment in the coating production line, and its temperature uniformity is a critical indicator for ensuring coating quality.
Heating methods for drying ovens include: radiation heating, hot air circulation heating, and radiation + hot air circulation heating.Based on production capacity, drying ovens can be classified into single-chamber type and through-type.Equipment structures include straight-through type and bridge type.
Hot air circulation drying ovens feature excellent thermal insulation, uniform temperature inside the oven, and low heat loss. Tests show that the temperature difference inside the oven is less than ±3°C, meeting the performance indicators of advanced similar products.

Heat Source System

Hot air circulation is currently the most widely used heating method, which heats the drying oven based on the principle of convective heat transfer to achieve drying and curing of workpieces. Heat source options: Electricity, steam, natural gas, or fuel oil, which can be selected according to the user's specific requirements.Heat source box placement: It can be installed on the top, bottom, or side of the drying oven, depending on the oven's design.Circulation fan for heat source: If a custom-made high-temperature-resistant fan is used, it offers advantages such as long service life, low energy consumption, low noise, and compact size.
